We followed our project planner quite thoroughly. We met the deadline we had set  in order to  hand our work in on time. For the most part our plan stayed the same. We faced a handful of challenges  while completing this final project. One of our challenges was research, at first some of our subtopics about GLP were very vague and hard to find.  Since we are struggling with research, our annotated bibliography may not be complete. We will hand one in, but probably will have to make changes to the citations we make in our final report.  Another big challenge is the overall workload of this final project. Espe cially this past week. We are required to finish a rough draft of the final report, a presentation outline, this blog and the annotated bibliography.  It feels like a lot of work to be getting done right now as our other classes are winding down with their own due dates approaching. A lot of work  must  go into the final report, and a l...

As we received feedback from  Arlene,  and we did not need to make any more changes for our proposal  except to add little detail about our topics .  I chose quality assurance and reagent / material certification. As Q uality  A ssurance  is very broad and it is  implemented  in almost all food, pharmaceutical, chemicals,  NHP industries  and many more. So, it was easy to find information about my topic.  And I have subcategorized my topic based on its application in almost every industry.  I found relevant information for validation and inspection of sample and reagent before use by America red cross Pdf.  Furthermore, I texted my group my members to provide  me  little information of their research regarding their topic.  Upon discussion with them, I figured out they are using Jennifer H i ley’s course material (Intro to Quality compliance) last term for their research work. Additionally, they inclu...

Arlene has given us feedback for our final project proposal. She said that for the final draft, it would be a good idea to include some more information about the subtopics we have all chosen. It’s helpful, constructive feedback that we will certainly incorporate into the final  proposal . Upon starting her research, Noor has discovered that there just isn’t enough information for the Statistical Procedures topic that she had chosen at the start. Given that situation, she has chosen to switch that out for Sample Reagents and Certification.  All of us have chosen our subtopics and they will be included and explained in more detail in the final proposal. Our next steps at this point is to add in that information which we will do together through teams during our class   time today (Monday).  After that, each of us will be completing our individual research by March 29 so that we can begin compiling it together into a presentation and report.

When Marie texted me asking if I would like to be in her group for the final project with Noor, I said yes immediately. I've worked with both of them before so I was excited because I knew we could produce a great final project. As a group we are interested in doing research of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP). We have finally been able to go on campus just recently to preform labs in our Instrumental Analysis class and our Applied Chemistry Techniques class. Sp, studying GLP really goes hand in hand with preparing us for the transition from online lab simulations to on campus lab work. Last week when we got assigned all this work for the final project, we all felt quite overwhelmed. Due dates, midterms and more due dates kept coming our way. Like I said we spend a full day on campus for labs and on top of that we had two midterms to write last week. Timing could not be worse. It is what it is! As students we obviously do the best we can do balance out all our responsibilities. We ...
